Teknoman Blade

Blade is the main character of the Teknoman series. In the story, him and his family of six brothers, their sister, their father and the oldest brother's girlfriend - Sword (I don't remember her real name, but this is her Teknoman name) - are exploring the far side of the moon when they recieve a distress signal. They decide to check it out and so they land their ship. Upon landing, they are attacked by an alien race of spider-crabs. The 6 brothers, their sister and Sword are put into pods and are transformed into technomen. The father however was rejected because he was too weak. This gave him a chance to free one of the brothers. He saves his son "Nick Carter" , or Blade as his name was changed to, and sends him back to earth in an escape pod. During this time, his brothers and Sarah, are turned into evil servants of Darkon, the evil overmind. Blade's sister also managed to escape on her own later in the series. When he returns to the space ring orbiting the Earth from his 3 month journey (the escape pod didn't have any thrusters) he is attacked by Dagger - the youngest brother in the family - and is thrown back to earth where he is saved by Ringo and Star. He must then defeat each of his brothers and then Darkon, the dark lord himself. Out of all the Teknomen, Blade is the strongest, mainly because of his shoulder cannons (which open up each time he fires it and looks really cool!) and his fighting skills. Near the end of the series, Teknoman Blade goes into a cocoon and is 'evolved' into a higher form of teknoman. Unfortunately, using the Teknosuit had a couple of side effect and each time he transformed, his body tissue was damaged. The other problem with using the Teknosuit was he had a 30 minute limit and after that, he became evil (somehow I think the animators forgot about that after the first few episodes....).
